1. Who we are

TamilAds ("TamilAds", "we", "us", "our") is a free online classifieds platform operated by TamilAds.fr, accessible at https://tamilads.fr. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, including browsing listings, posting ads, and contacting other users.

By accessing or using TamilAds you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. Nature of the service — intermediary only

TamilAds is a neutral hosting platform that lets individual users publish and browse classified advertisements. We are not a party to any transaction, agreement, sale, exchange, rental, employment offer, or other arrangement that may take place between users.

  • We do not handle payments, deposits, escrow, shipping, delivery, inspection, verification, or warranty.
  • We do not endorse, vet, certify, or guarantee any user, listing, price, condition, description, image, or claim made on the platform.
  • Listings are user-generated content. Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for verifying the identity, legitimacy, and trustworthiness of the other party before any transaction.

3. User responsibilities

You are solely and personally responsible for everything you post, upload, send, or otherwise make available through the service, including text, images, video links, contact details, and prices.

You agree not to publish or transmit content that:

  • is unlawful under French or European law, or the law of any jurisdiction from which the content is uploaded or in which it is viewed;
  • is fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, or designed to defraud other users;
  • infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, image rights, or other intellectual-property right of a third party;
  • is defamatory, harassing, threatening, abusive, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or violent;
  • discloses personal data of a third party without their consent;
  • promotes counterfeit goods, illegal services, controlled substances, weapons, stolen items, or any goods or services prohibited by French law;
  • contains malware, phishing links, scams, or attempts to compromise the platform or its users;
  • impersonates any person, organisation, or brand;
  • is sent or posted as spam, bulk advertising, or automated mass content.

You warrant that you own (or have all necessary rights and licences to use and publish) every text, image, and other element you upload, and that publication on TamilAds does not infringe any third party's rights.

4. Account, eligibility, and access

You must be at least 18 years old (or have verifiable parental consent) and able to enter into a legally binding contract to post ads or contact sellers. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. Moderation, removal, and suspension

TamilAds may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice:

  • edit, refuse to publish, hide, unpublish, or delete any listing or content that we believe (acting reasonably) violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of any third party;
  • suspend or terminate any user account for breach of these Terms, repeated complaints, suspected fraud, or any abuse of the platform;
  • refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any lawful reason.

Removal of content does not, by itself, mean we agree the content was unlawful — it simply reflects our right to keep the platform safe and compliant.

6. Reports and notice-and-takedown

If you believe a listing on TamilAds is unlawful, infringes your rights, or otherwise violates these Terms, please email eelanet@gmail.com with the URL of the listing and a clear description of the issue. We aim to review credible reports promptly.

7. Cooperation with authorities

TamilAds may cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities (police, courts, regulators) and may disclose user information, listing data, IP addresses, or logs to the extent required by applicable law, court order, or to investigate suspected unlawful activity.

8. Automatic content retention

To keep the marketplace fresh, listings older than approximately 90 days may be automatically removed by a routine cleanup job, along with their attached images. You should not rely on the platform to permanently archive your content. The retention period may change; the current value is shown above.

9. No warranty — service "as is"

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of listings, uninterrupted availability, or freedom from error. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all such warranties.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TamilAds.fr and its affiliates, employees, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service or any transaction with another user, including (without limitation) loss of profit, data, goodwill, or any other intangible loss, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under French law.

11. Intellectual property of the platform

The TamilAds name, logo, look-and-feel, source code, and underlying software are owned by TamilAds.fr and protected by intellectual property laws. Content uploaded by users remains the property of the respective user, who grants TamilAds a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the service.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service shall be submitted to the competent courts of France, without prejudice to any non-waivable rights of consumers under their local law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted where reasonably possible. Continued use of TamilAds after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
