1. How to report an ad
On every ad, the “Report this ad” button lets you choose a reason: scam or fraud, illegal content, misleading information, duplicate or spam, privacy problem, other. You can also write to contact@tamilads.fr with the link to the ad, the reason for your report and, if you wish, your contact details so that we can keep you informed.
Reports are confidential: the advertiser is not told who reported the ad. Abusive or repeatedly unfounded reports may be ignored.
2. What happens next?
- The report goes into the publisher’s moderation queue.
- The ad is reviewed against the law, the terms of use and the posting rules, as quickly as possible.
- Depending on the case: no action; the ad is marked “unavailable” (it stays visible with that label and no longer receives enquiries); the ad is deleted; for serious or repeated breaches, the account is suspended.
The site does not monitor ads in general and does not use automated tools to moderate content. The only automatic checks concern file formats and anti-spam protection in forms.
3. Informing the advertiser and appeals
When an ad is restricted or deleted following a report, the publisher informs the advertiser, where possible, at the email address of their account, stating the measure taken and the reason. The advertiser can contest the decision by replying to that message or by writing to contact@tamilads.fr; the case is then reviewed again.
4. Authorities
The publisher cooperates with the competent authorities and gives them the information it holds when the law requires it.
5. Emergencies
If someone is in immediate danger, call the emergency services first (17 or 112 in France).
